Well we've decided, we're definitely going to go in May - hopefully 4th - 24th - just got to book the flights - accommodation shouldn't be too hard to find! Wink

Anyone else planning to be there then??? Cool

Yes we will be there then. We go on 29th April until 22d May. Really looking forward to it.

We will have to try and arrange a meet up.

Well, we've got 2 tickets sort off booked!! Thanks to Virgins wonderful website and i must say, very helpful help desk...

We thought we'd take up their offer of 20% off tickets paid for by airmiles or whatever they call them - so, all we needed was 40000 miles each plus £123 taxes - so we try to buy the extra miles we need - 5000 each - £90 each on the website - Helen's went through fine, but mine didn't - got a confirmation number, but the miles purchased have disappeared into the ether - the girl at the help desk can't find them either... Confused

She's reserved us 2 seats for our dates until Tuesday night, by which time she hopes they can find the missing miles... Shocked and issue us with proper tickets...
So, Craig & Karen (and Libby) looks like we will get the chance to meet up in May... Wink

Hope you get it sorted. We used our Airmiles last time with Virgin and it was great, made a real difference. We used to get them with our credit card but they have stopped giving them now Crying or Very sad

Anyway we would love to meet up and we can introduce you to our little princess! We don't do Disney every day but I am sure Craig would like to... Mickey Smiley

I usually get a girlie week with my sister-in-law.............................I mean..........housekeeping week Wink in May, but unfortunately it is not to be this year with me residing in Oman!! Oh how I could do with a fix of the parks, Premium Outlets..................and even Walmart at this stage. Weather is beautiful here at the minute, 30 degrees today so we are spoiled............but I pine for Florida. You lucky things. Hope your flights get sorted Feathers, I'm sure they will.

Cheers.

Meg

We're nearly always in FL. in May every year, but it's a landmark
birthday for my sister in law in Orlando, so we decided to go in June and celebrate with her.

I really like May 'cos the weather is just right. Around mid eighties with low humidity, and not too busy normally. Our trip in June is right in the middle of school half term this year so likely to be busy.

Hope you have a great time in May. Very Happy

Thanks Kevin.

We were there in May a couple of years ago and it was really nice. Longer days too without the humidity. The last few times we have been in Winter and it was lovely but the days can be quite short.

Have you got used to the weather in Oman yet???

We will get the flights sorted - got the name of the girl at Virgins help desk and have faith in her ability to sort our problem...

Thanks for asking Feathers. The temperature is, on average about 30 degrees each day. It shot up from 25 to 30 in one day, so the sudden change in temperature can catch you out!! Temperatures are expected to rise to around 45 degrees in June and push up to 50 in the Summer months, when, hopefully, we will retreat to Ireland once school finishes. One definately could not live without Air Con and Showers Laughing

Cheers.

Meg

Well at least you won't have to worry about any sudden temperature changes over here..................

Michelle and I will be in Florida in May as well april 29th till may 13th.

Have to get together and go for something to eat, drink, whatever!

We both love the heat, but don't know if we could cope with that...!
