We all know that the Dollar-Sterling exchange rate has been riding high for the last few months, but it looks like its going to break the $2 to the pound rate this week.

Todays mid rate reports were averaging 1.9982 which is great. With forecasts showing a $2 dollar to the pound rate before the end of the week.

XE.com are showing a close of trade rate of 2.00816

What rates are you all getting?

I know there is still the £145 limit on imports, but this rate must still make everything so much cheaper, and hopefully will help bring the crowds back to Florida.

Even the "tourist" rate at Mark & Spencer is $1.938 this morning! Very Happy

Todays rate is even better. At a 26 year high we found a rate this morning of 2.028

This is fantastic!!!

Just an aside to this, I use a Nationwide credit card in the US because they give the most favourable overseas rates. My last transaction over there last Tuesday came through as 2.0014!!!

Good to have you home, although you may not think so!!

That is a great rate for your credit card, they are often much lower than the daily rate.
