I have never been on a cruise with them, but a mate of mine is an officer with Disney Cruises, so I manage to blag my way on board when they are in dock changing the passengers and such.

Disney currently run 2 ships, the Wonder and Magic, but are due to have 2 more in service in 2011.

The current ships are mainly engaged in Caribbean trips, one does 7 days and the other does 3+4 days.

Disney are branching out though and will be doing the Med next summer, as well as a Baltic Cruise, and the likelihood is that when the new ships come into service there will be an Alaskan and East Coast route, and some sort of Mexico/South America.

Who knows, with Disney now having a base in the far east there may even be one based there in th future.

Although not as big as some of the newer cruise ships the Magic and the Wonder are big enough and boast cinema, theatres etc, and of course they have their own island in the Caribbean to visit, Castaway Cay.

There are enough bars to keep the adults entertained, and the decor is all art decor inspired.

I may even go on one some time in the future. Thats if I get a discount!

Thanks for the photos Karl, they are great.

The ship looks amazing. As Craig said we have considered the cruise quite a few times. Someday we will do it.

By the way, Caitlin is well grown up!
